Terms and Conditions

Welcome to The Sanctuary by Bella Mia ("we", "us", or "our"). By booking and using our private spa services, you ("client", "you", or "your") agree to the following Terms and Conditions. These terms are in place to ensure the safety, comfort, and enjoyment of all our guests and staff.

1. Booking and Eligibility

  • Our private spa experience is available exclusively for individuals aged 18 and over.

  • Bookings are made on a per-session basis and are subject to availability.

  • Luxury add-ons and champagne upgrades are optional and availability may vary per session. Upgrades (excluding flowers) may be available to purchase on the day. Please note, to purchase alcohol you must be over 18 and may be asked to produce a valid form of ID.

2. Personal Data

  • We collect personal information (e.g., name, contact details, allergies) solely for the purposes of providing our services.

  • Your data is handled in accordance with UK data protection laws. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more information.

3. Allergies and Food Intolerances

  • If you have any allergies or food intolerances, you must inform us at the time of booking.

  • We cannot guarantee allergen-free food or environments unless notified in advance.

4. Medical Conditions

  • If you have any medical conditions that could impact your safety when receiving treatment or using the spa facilities, you must inform us at the time of booking.

  • This includes (but is not limited to) heart conditions, skin disorders, pregnancy, or other health issues that may be affected by heat, water, or physical treatments.

  • Failure to disclose such information puts you at risk and may result in termination of the session without refund.

5. Respect and Conduct

  • All clients are expected to treat staff and property with respect.

  • Any damage to equipment or facilities caused by you (accidental or intentional) will be charged at the full cost of repair or replacement.

6. Jewellery Policy

  • No jewellery is permitted to be worn while using any of the spa facilities, including hot tubs, saunas, or treatment areas.

  • Jewellery can damage sensitive equipment and pose a safety risk. You must remove all jewellery prior to entering the spa area.

  • We are not responsible for the loss or damage of any items removed and stored during your visit.

7. Facility Use

  • Use of our spa facilities is entirely at your own risk.

  • We are not responsible for any injury, accident, or health issues arising from use of the spa or its facilities.

  • You are responsible for your own belongings. We accept no liability for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.

8. Smoking and Vaping Policy

  • We operate a strict no smoking, e-cigarette, or vaping policy anywhere on the premises.

9. Punctuality

  • Your session time is fixed. If you arrive late, your session will still end at the scheduled time.

  • No extensions or time adjustments will be made for late arrivals.

10. Rescheduling and Refund Policy

  • All bookings are non-refundable, regardless of the reason for cancellation.

  • You may reschedule your session one time, provided you give a minimum of 7 days' notice. Please note, although treatments carried out in our salon require 72 hours notice to reschedule, all bookings made for our spa require 7 days’ notice (and can only be rescheduled once).

  • Any request to change the date a second time or more will incur a rescheduling fee, which must be paid before the new date is confirmed.

  • No-shows or rescheduling requests made with less than 7 days’ notice will result in loss of the booking with no refund or reschedule.

11. Gift Vouchers

  • The Sanctuary gift vouchers are accepted as a form of payment, provided they are:

    • Still within their valid date range

    • Redeemed against the correct spa session type stated on the voucher

  • Gift vouchers cannot be extended under any circumstances once expired.

  • Vouchers hold no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money.

  • Lost, stolen, or expired vouchers will not be reissued.

12. Termination of Session

  • We reserve the right to terminate any session immediately and without refund if:

    • You breach any of these Terms and Conditions;

    • You behave in a disrespectful, aggressive, or unsafe manner (including intoxication);

    • You fail to follow staff instructions.

13. Governing Law

  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

  • Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Please ensure you bring appropriate footwear (slippers, sliders, flip-flops), all robes and towels are provided. Should you need appropriate footwear on the say, we will have some available to purchase.

Please ensure you are no more than 5 minutes early to your session.

Please note, you are not permitted to bring your own alcohol. We have alcohol available to purchase on request and specific alcohol requests can be made prior to your session. We are not permitted to allow you to consume your own alcohol on the premises. Any violation of this will result in your spa session being terminated immediately and no refund will be given in line with our terms and conditions above.
