It’s my first time coming to Bella Mia, what do I need to know?

  • We will not soak off another salon or technician’s work. This is because we cannot be sure what products have been used which can interfere with our treatment timings.

  • We have a strict booking fee system in place. You are required to pay for 50% of your booking at the time of booking. Should you need to reschedule you must give 2 working days notice to enable us to transfer your booking fee. Failing to do so will result in your appointment being classed as a “last minute cancellation”, resulting in you losing your booking fee and having to pay another 50% booking fee for your future booking. Failure to show to your appointment will also result in you losing your booking fee. You will not be able to rebook a treatment until you pay the remaining 50% of the treatment price you failed to show for. Please note, if you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment (or more than 5 minutes late for any 15 minute services), your appointment may be refused and classed as a last minute cancellation. Client’s who regularly cancel last minute or fail to show for appointments will not be allowed to rebook at the salon. This is not fair on our therapists or client’s wishing to book in for their treatments. Why is this in place? This is to allow our therapists to continue offering treatments to those client’s that truly want them.

  • STRICT NO CHILDREN/PETS POLICY; We kindly ask that clients attend appointments alone unless pre-discussed and agreed with Bella or your therapist. A salon is not a safe place for children (or pets) as we are unable to supervise them with many hazardous products and equipment around. In addition, we want all of our clients to have a relaxing time when they visit us.


What’s the quickest way to book or get in touch?

For live time availability, booking using or booking system on FRESHA is the quickest and most convenient way to book your appointments. You can book up to three months in advance on our system. You can put any messages or notes for our therapists in the booking notes at the time of making your booking.

To contact us, you can phone us (and leave a message if we are unable to answer the phone), however emailing us is the quickest way to get in touch. If you have not received an email back within 48 hours (excluding over weekends or bank holidays), please be sure to check your junk/spam folder.


How often do I need to book/re-book?

This varies depending on the service you have. We recommend always booking 3-4 appointments in advance to ensure you get your desired day and time booked on a regular basis.


When do I need a patch test?

Patch tests are required for any of the following treatments:

  • ALL tinting treatments (brows or lashes)

  • Lash Lifts

  • Eyelash Extensions

  • Dermalogica Pro Power Peels
